The Pensacola Interstate Fair maintains the following policies, procedures and Code of Conduct. The safety and security of our patrons, staff and volunteers is our top priority.
Private Property
The Pensacola Interstate Fair, Inc. is Private Property. We reserve the right to enforce any decision deemed necessary by our Board of Directors.
Clear Bag Policy
In order to maintain a safe, entertaining environment, the Fair will maintain a Clear Bag Policy. This policy is similar to those used at major sporting events and other events in the country. Any and all bags will be subject to search upon arrival.
We will be allowing diaper bags and medically necessary bags. The bags will be searched and tagged before entering the Fair. Tags must remain on the bag throughout your stay at the Fair.
Weapons
Weapons (concealed or open carry) are NOT allowed on the property even if you are a Concealed Weapon Permit Holder. Weapons include but are not limited to the following:
Guns
Knives
Pocket knives
Pepper spray
Personal safety keychains
Taser
Stun guns
Code of Conduct
The Pensacola Interstate Fair, Inc. reserves the right to evict anyone from the fairgrounds property due to failure to comply with the following stipulations:
Appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
Any and all trash must be disposed of in the proper receptacles.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed to leave the Midway. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the parking lot.
No prohibited bags.
No activities or behaviors that could endanger or disturb other patrons (playing loud music, using profanity).
No exposed underwear or sagging clothing under the waist.
No outside food and/or beverages.
No gang-related clothing, colors, signs, jewelry or activities.
No loitering, blocking entryways or large walking groups that inconvenience other patrons.
No standing on chairs or benches.
No soliciting of any kind.
Law Enforcement Jurisdiction
The Pensacola Interstate Fair, Inc. is under the jurisdiction of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Patrons Subject To Search
The Fair reserves the right to search any and all bags, strollers, clothing, cups, your person, and/or any other objects deemed to be a possible carrier of any and all prohibited items and/or any destructive or lethal device.
Animal Policy
Pets are not allowed at the Fair. Service Animals that are brought should meet the following ADA requirements listed here.
Offensive Clothing Policy
Any patron wearing clothing or jewelry or other personal items that Fair Management deems offensive or gang-related will not be allowed into the Fair. Exceptions and challenges will be answered at the discretion of Fair Management.
Security and Safety Policies
Our patrons’ safety is of top concern to the Fair. Surveillance cameras will be operating during each day of the Fair. The Fair is under the jurisdiction of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Photo Policy
Photo, video, and audio may be taken for promotion purposes. By entering the Fair, you consent, waive all rights to royalties, and release the Fair of any liability. You agree to your likeness being used, published, or reproduced in any and all media, which can be used now or in the future, for any and all purposes by or in connection with the Fair, its sponsors, organizers, and providers.
Ticket Sales Policy
No re-sale or public promotion of Fair tickets is permitted unless explicit permission is given by the Pensacola Interstate Fair. All companies, organizations, and individuals are welcome to purchase tickets and ride wristbands. If a patron violates the Ticket Sales Policy, we reserve the right to void any and all tickets purchased by the patron. All tickets, wristbands, and coupons become void after the last day of the Fair.
Inclement Weather Policy
No refunds for admission or ride credits or wristbands will be given due to bad weather. There are no “rainchecks.” The Fair will remain in operation during light rain unless it is deemed unsafe by the General Manager or the Board of Directors. Operation of midway rides during rain will be at the discretion of Reithoffer Shows to ensure patron safety.
